Flat head binding post screws are named chicago screw , it is used for books fastening and called book screws as application of it . binding screws are made of plasitc material with colors like black or white or other custom . For the most chicago screws , the head is flat so that easy to fasten papers and slotted head drive for quick operation and phillips or combination of phillips and slot for options .

 

There are two parts for binding screws , one is female part which with internal threads and another is male part that with outer thread ,the thread specification for both parts are right same and female shaft lengths are normally effective fastening length .

 

How to operate bindng screws

 

1 . Drill hole in papers , the hole diameter is bigger slightly than diameter of female shaft .

 

2 . Check threads for male and female are right or not via screwing male threads to female threads .

 

3 . Insert Female part throught paper hole and fasten paper in male part via threads .
